At ICRAF Indonesia I worked under
supervision of Fred Stolle, investigating the motivations for forest fires
during 1997-1998. For two weeks I travelled through Jambi province on Sumatra
in search of fire hotspots. These hotspots were based on NOAA satellite
imagery.
A longer description will follow later, but for the moment a
reference will have to do.
